Alex Bulan, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician associate (PA) with nearly 18 years of experience in nonsurgical orthopedic care. He practices at Twin Creeks Orthopedics and Regenerative Clinic in Allen, Texas, where he evaluates and treats a broad range of joint and musculoskeletal conditions.
Alex focuses on conservative management of knee, shoulder, hip, and other extremity conditions. He treats arthritis, overuse injuries, and activity-related musculoskeletal pain, and evaluates and manages select fractures appropriate for non-operative care, referring patients for surgical treatment when indicated. He also supports patients with peripheral neuropathy and chronic nerve-related symptoms as part of comprehensive pain and function management.
Alex began his medical career in the U.S. Navy in 1994, serving as a Hospital Corpsman before becoming a PA and naval officer. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery during his military career, gaining advanced training in musculoskeletal evaluation and appropriate surgical referral. He also holds certification in neuropathy management through the American College of Physical Medicine. He retired from military service in 2021 after 27 years, with assignments in the United States, Cuba, Guam, Italy, and Japan, as well as combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Outside of clinical practice, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through swimming, biking, running, and travel. He believes maintaining an active lifestyle is essential to long-term health and brings that perspective into his patient care.
